Sinai Bedouins kidnap 2 American tourists in Dahab- Nuweiba highway

Security officials say two American tourists have been kidnapped while traveling in South Sinai’s Dahab- Nuweiba highway

Unknown armed kidnappers have seized two American tourists near the Red Sea resort of Dahab, Egyptian television reported on Thursday.
The two are American tourists in their early 30s. They were reportedly taken by armed Bedouins as they were traveling by car to the resort of Nuweiba.
The Ma’an news agency gave their names as Jonathan Shizarlasky and Carter Brabon and said they were seized at gunpoint from a car near the Hilton hotel and taken to a mountainous area.
Police said the kidnappers are demanding the release of a drug dealer arrested a day before, in return for freeing the Americans.
